Youth Education
OUR PROGRAM: As with many churches, our youth program struggled during Covid. Our Youth teachers were creative and valiant during the pandemic, teaching via Zoom and staying connected through the mail and social media. Once we reopened, attendance was lower and we made the decision to temporarily suspend our youth program.
Since then, interest has once again grown, and we will begin a once a month classroom experience beginning in September of 2024. We will continue to pay attention to interest and the guidance of Spirit, and hope to increase the frequency of our program in the near future.
Once in their classrooms, our children engage in lessons based on Unity principles and incorporating wisdom from the many faith traditions represented in our world. They are taught the values of love, courage, compassion, truth and service, through lessons, crafts, prayer and meditation, and active play.
OUR MISSION: To create an environment that inspires children and youth to recognize the Spiritual part of life and to explore and develop it.
